objectives
Provide statewide opportunities for many participants from community groups and aged care centres to be involved in an art/health activity.
Explore the concept of memory in terms of individual identity and life experience, and the history and culture of a community.
Provide an opportunity for inclusion of older people in an intergenerational
project to research events which are significant to the people of Tasmania
Use the project to promote an understanding of memory loss and reduce the stigma and fear associated with "having a senior moment" or coping with dementia.
Reach a wide audience, the general public, textile enthusiasts, people with memory loss, carers, health professionals, through a Tasmanian Regional Arts tour, exhibitions, conferences and craft shows.
